VNRE - Vina Commercial Centre Investment Company yesterday officially launched the leasing registration for 22,000 square metres of the Mo Commercial Centre’s shopping space.

The $75 million Mo Commercial Centre project started construction in 2008 and will be completed at the end of 2012.

The Vinaconex-invested project comprises building 25 and 15 storey buildings for office and residential leasing, a five podium shopping center, a semi basement and two basements for parking.

The buildings are constructed on 11,191sqm in which 4,987sqm will be used for buildings and 6,204sqm is for internal roads, pavements, parking areas, green landscape and modern facilities for end users.

To exploit the most advantage of the strategic location of the project, its consultancy and leasing agent Savills Vietnam aimed to develop the shopping centre with five podium floors being modern wholesale centre with full equipped facilities.

Similar to Ho Chi Minh City’s An Dong complex, the project will be an ideal option for wholesale and retail businesses.

Vu Anh Dao, director of Vina Commercial Centre Investment Company, said the company had researched and invested heavily in smart designs.

“With the determination to revitalise the traditional Mo market, we committed serious investment to develop the shopping centre becoming an ideal wholesale centre for Vietnamese customers,” said Dao.

Located at 459C Bach Mai street, Hai Ba Trung district, Mo Commercial Centre project is on the main traditional trading route of Hanoi: Bach Mai – Hue – Hang Bai – Dinh Tien Hoang – Hang Ngang – Hang Dao street and the centre is just 3km away from Hoan Kiem Lake.
