Singapore’s Cicada will also join the project as the landscape designer.

Construction of the Golden Hills urban area along the Cu De River will be completed and operational by 2014, according to the group. The marketing manager did not say if Trung Nam would build the whole complex on its own, or would invite secondary investors to join its development efforts.

On the same day, Trung Nam will also start work on an extended section of Nguyen Tat Thanh Street leading to the urban complex. The road section project costs some VND300 billion, or around US$14.5 million, the company said in a statement.
