VNRE - Vincom said that within 5 years this company will develop 10 commercial center projects, with a total floor area of 1 million m2, equivalend 1/4 the total floor area of the retail market.

On 03/31/2011, Vincom Corporation hold a press conference to introduce the chain commercial center project and strategic to develop these projects with two unified names are Vincom Centre and Vincom Mega Mall.

Vincom Center are the commercial center project which has scale less than 100.000m2 such as: Vincom Center Hanoi, Vincom Center Hochiminh, Vincom Center Dong Da... The projects have more than 100.000m2 will be named as Vincom Mega Mall: Vincom Mega Mall - Times City, Vincom Mega Mall - Royal City, ...

Vincom putted into use two Vincom Center projects which are Vincom Center Hanoi with a total floor area 40.000m2 and Vincom Center Hochiminh City with a total floor area 57.704m2. Currently Vincom is focusing to develop two projects are Vincom Mega Mall - Times City and Vincom Mega Mall - Royal City.

Vincom Mega Mall - Times City is built in the Times City urban (renamed from Eco City) at No.458 Minh Khai street, with a total floor area 230.000m2. As planned, this project will be launched in April 2013, be the first Vincom Mega Mall go into operation. This commercial center will have the first Water Park in Hanoi with about 2000 species of marine organisms, 3D & 4D cinemas, healthcare centers, 100 restaurants, supermarkets...

Vincom Mega Mall - Royal City is built at No.72A Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan district with a total floor area 200.000m2. This project is expected to come into operation in August 2013. So far, 60% area of Vincom Mega Mall - Royal City has been registered to lease.

Speaking at the press conference, Mr.Le Khac Hiep - Chairman of Vincom, said the development strategy of Vincom is not competing on price, but will compete with quality and service.
