VNRE - Today morning 07/06/2011, Saigontourist Holding Company (Saigontourist) held the ground breaking ceremony to build the expansion project of Majestic five-star hotel at No. 6 Nguyen Hue Street, District 1, Hochiminh City.
The project is a part of key investment projects of Saigontourist in the development strategy from 2011 to 2015 with a total investment of 1,900 billion. Saigontourist will retain the existing Majestic hotel to stay in business, while building two new 24-storey and 27-storey blocks. The expansion project of Majestic hotel reachs 350 rooms, brings the total number of Majestic to 540 rooms.
Expected to be completed late in 2014. This will be one of the biggest five-star hotel complex in Hochiminh City, provide full luxurious, elegance services.
As known, Majestic hotel (http://www.majesticsaigon.com.vn/) was built in the heart of Saigon in 1925 and rated five-star level by Vietnam National Administration of Tourism in 2007. The hotel is having 175 rooms with restaurant, meeting rooms, swimming pool ... and is one of the oldest architecture hotel in the city.
